The Trainer
So now that you know me from a Personal side, who am I as a trainer and potentially your future trainer?
I started seriously training about 4 years ago. Yes, I’ve been an athlete my whole life, yes I played collegiate sports but once I started putting my focus on training I fell in love with the process. I fell in love with seeing results from the hard work I was putting in.
I have been a Certified Personal Trainer for just over 2 years through ISSA and re-certify often to stay up to date on the best practices for safety and success.
I have always been around the gym and weight room. Initially, it was to stay in shape and gain strength for my basketball career, but after my playing days were over I had a competitive void to fill. Who better to compete with than yourself? I feel that you will always be your biggest competition. Pushing myself every single day to get better in the gym translated to pushing myself to get better in all aspects of life.
So, Why should you choose me over 100s of other trainers?
I cannot speak on what other trainers are or aren't. I can only speak for myself. I am a creature of habit. I work hard EVERYDAY. I put in the work EVERYDAY. I love to succeed and there is nothing I want more than for my clients to succeed, crush their goals, and feel great about themselves. However, I do not sugar coat anything. I will give you the blueprint to succeed but YOU need to put in the work and be prepared to work hard. I will work hard for you so I expect you to work hard for me. I will be there everyday to motivate you along the way.
With that being said, my goals for myself change frequently when it comes to the gym. However, one goal I have is to make sure my clients reach their long term and short term goals. I want you to feel great about yourself, have fun working hard, and fall in love with the process. The late great Kobe Bryant once said "Those times when you get up early and you work hard, those times when you stay up late and you work hard, those times you don't feel like working, you're too tired, you don't want to push yourself, but you do it anyway. That is actually the dream. Its not the destination, its the journey." I couldn't agree more.
